Spied for the first time nearly two months ago was the facelifted Mercedes-Benz CLS set to debut in 2014. So what makes today so exciting? Today we have photos of the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake’s first facelift. The updates shown in the spy photos will be seen on the 2015 CLS Shooting Brake model.
As with the standard CLS, the Shooting Brake will receive the biggest change to the front fascia with redesigned headlights. Mercedes did not just reserve updates to the exterior however, the interior shots show a dark cover over most of the upper area of the dashboard which could signal new updates and additions.
Engine options for the 2015 CLS Shooting Brake will likely mimic that of the CLS and include the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 that offers up 333 hp (245 kW) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque. Updated safety and tech features are also likely to be found on the updated model.
