For those of you that have not been following the spy photos, the 2014 E-Class is sporting far more than just a simple facelift. On the contrary, there have been several design changes. The hood, front and lower grilles have a completely new style and the previously teased one-piece headlight has replaced the current quad configuration of the outgoing model. The taillights and bumper received a new look in the back.
We’ve yet to receive the official technical details, but you can get a great idea of what you’re getting thanks to the interior and exterior photos of the sedan and the estate E-Class.
The engine lineup will likely include the usual units, a V6 3.5-liter with 333 hp (248 kW), a turbocharged V8 4.6-liter with 435 hp (324 kW) and a V8 5.5-liter twin-turbo generating 537 hp (400 kW). Mercedes-Benz could also launch a new entry-level model with a Renault-sourced 4-cylinder, 1.6-liter engine producing 156 hp (116 kW).
We will keep you posted as additional details come in. Stay tuned.
