German tuner, MEC Design, unveiled photos of their tuning program for the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class, specifically the SL550.  The SL550 comes with a 4663 cc Direct-injection V8
Bi-Turbo engine with ECO Stop/Start that delivers a total of 429 HP and 516 lb-ft of torque and sprints 0-60 in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 130mph.

The MEC Design SL will keep the Mercedes engine, currently without any updates.  Instead of working under the hood, MEC Design fitted the R231 SL-Class with a custom body kit that includes; AMG bumper conversion, a four-tailpipe exhaust system that is available in two sounds “Daytona” and “Earthquake”.  There’s also an electric lowering module, reducing the SL’s height by up to 55mm and then there’s the 20-inch “MecxtremeI” wheels with a satin finish.
