The Mercedes C63 AMG wasn’t due to make its world debut until tomorrow, but as seems to be the recent trend, photos of the C63 AMG completely uncovered have been leaked. As we initially suspected, the massivly powerful new C63 AMG will receive the 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 that is also seen in the AMG GT.
There will be two version of the C63 AMG, a 469 HP version with 479 lb-ft of torque and a C63S that is capable of outputting an impressive 503 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque connected to a 7-speed AMG SpeedShift MCT gearbox. – either way you go, you’ll receive a nice bump over the prior C63 AMG’s 451 hp from the 6.2 liter naturally aspirated V8.
According to Autocar the sedan, note they specify sedan as there will be a wagon as well, version will weight 3,615 pounds, and can do zero to 62 mph (100 kmh) in 4.2 seconds, which is about what the 2015 BMW M3 will do.
