The most recent spy photos of the future SLS AMG Roadster were captured on the Stena Line Ferry headed to Germany from Sweden.
The photos who two SLS AMG Roadster soft-top prototypes alongside other Mercedes-Benz prototypes including the Mercedes-Benz ML-Class and a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe. In addition to the Mercedes prototypes is an Audi R8 Spyder, possibly for engineers and designers to run comparisons against.
Monday we brought you news of the SLS AMG Roadster’s debut in Frankfurt where we will see the car without the gullwing doors and instead with its retractable roof. The SLS Roadster will feature AMG’s 6.3 liter (6,208cc) V8 with an output of 420 kW (571 PS / 563 hp) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. That makes for a 0-100 km/h sprint time of just 4.0 seconds and a top speed of 309 km/h (192 mph).
