The German aftermarket specialists, McChip, have updated their tuning program for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, by adding even more power.

The previously released McChip MC700 compressor kit included a mechanically driven compressor and a performance-enhancing high-end exhaust system that was developed in cooperation with Capristo Exhaust Systems. These additions increased the 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine’s power level up to an impressive 680 HP and 567 lb-ft of torque. Adding the extra 109 HP set you back 69,900 Euros, or around $808 dollars each per HP.

But now, the specialist from Mcchip-Dkr have achieved an even more impressive number. Increasing the output with a program dubbed “stage 4” the SLS AMG output has been upped to 706 HP (519 kW) and 793 Nm (585 lb-ft). McChip managed this by installing a custom exhaust system, sports catalytic converters and performing engine software tweaks. The entire power upgrade package will cost you 78,999 EUR.

In addition to the massive power boost, a hydraulically-controlled DDC or HLS 4-sports chassis made by KW is available for 12,999 EUR. CoverEFX is selling this complete matte grey/red foliation for an extra 5,999 EUR.
