Vitt transforms the R230 Mercedes SL55 AMG into a black, wide-bodied monster they’re calling the Squalo

You’ve got to hand it to Japanese tuners – when it comes creating unique styles, for better or for worse, there’s nothing like them.  Take the creature before you.  It began life as an R230 Mercedes SL55 AMG – that is, until Vitt became its surrogate mother.  A new front bumper and fender here, a new front bumper and rear fender there, some side skirts, a carbon rear wing and a new exhaust system, and poof, like magic, this black wide-bodied monster they’re calling the Squalo was born.  It’s cost:  a mere $23,736, going off today’s exchange rate (it’s 2,205,000 yen), on top of whatever a used SL55 AMG will set you back.  Want one?  You can find more details and dealer info at Vitt’s website.
