Mercedes-Benz has revealed the latest details on the 2016 GLC, ahead of its official debut this summer on June 17th.
While full details on the 2016 GLC are still pending, Mercedes-Benz USA has confirmed that the model will go on sale in “mid-November” and be offered as a GLC300 and GLC300 4MATIC. Mercedes declined to release specifications but the “300” moniker suggests crossover will have a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 241 bhp (179 kW) and 273 lb-ft (369 Nm) torque. Rear wheel drive will be standard but all-wheel drive will be optional.
Mercedes also hinted the model will have a “number of new options as well as added standard equipment” which will move the GLC to the “top of its segment.”
