To celebrate the first phase of a multi-year brand partnership with Mercedes-Benz, TIDAL will host an entertainment experience of a lifetime, featuring a performance by Iggy Azalea, in Frankfurt. The Australian four-time Grammy nominated and multi-platinum rapper will play an exclusive concert on Friday, September 15, 2017. Participants of the me Convention can sign up for a ticket via the event App during the convention. Additional tickets will be raffled on the Social Media Channels of TIDAL and Mercedes-Benz. Fans world-wide will be able to tune in to a livestream of the performance on TIDAL.com/Mercedes-Benz.
“I’m excited to help usher in this innovative new partnership between TIDAL and Mercedes-Benz,” said Iggy Azalea. “Both companies represent the highest quality offerings and I’m looking forward to participating in this groundbreaking event”.
In the next few months, Mercedes-Benz customers with “Mercedes me” equipped vehicles will be able to access a complimentary TIDAL HiFi membership. More than just a music streaming service, TIDAL is committed to connecting fans with their favorite musicians by providing on-demand access to more than 50 million music tracks, 180,000 videos, carefully curated playlists and a variety of exclusive content, including the TIDAL X program – which connects artists directly with fans via one-of-a-kind live events, meet & greets, ticket giveaways, livestreams and more. Previously, TIDAL has hosted TIDAL X events with artists, such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Bon Jovi, Damian Marley and more.
Iggy Azalea became the first ever woman to be named to XXL’s Freshman List in 2012. Since then, she has worked with a broad spectrum of collaborators – everyone from pop royalty to EDM DJs to rap legends. In 2014, she made her US chart-topping debut, hitting a trifecta of worldwide #1 multi-platinum smash hits: ”Fancy” (featuring Charli XCX); “Black Widow” (featuring Rita Ora); and “ Problem” (collaboration with Ariana Grande). Most recently, Iggy Azalea released three singles off her highly-anticipated new album, DIGITAL DISTORTION, the follow-up to her 2014 debut, The New Classic.
