The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the flagship of the brand, taking over an even higher end market than before, filling in where Maybach left off. But will it be able to compete agains Bentley and Rolls Royce? Once you’ve ridden in the new S-Class, you will not question its ability to go head-to-head with the ultra luxurious, for those in the market for something more, Scott Wu Kaiser has envisioned the S-Class topping U-Class.
Designed for the year 2021, the U-Class, whose name is derived from the German word “üppig” which stands for “lavish”, “luxuriant” and “sumptuous”, is essentially a long wheelbase S-Class fitted with a v12 6.0 liter twin-turbo engine that would be priced around $150,000 (take into account inflation by 2021 and you may be looking closer to $225k)
