The German aftermarket specialists from Performmaster revealed today a rather serious powerkit for the 2015 Mercedes C63 AMG. The tuner chose the demonstrate it on the estate version of the new C63. Performmaster’s power kit for the 2015 C63 AMG includes the PEC tuning module. Unfortunately, its technical details have not been disclosed yet. Thanks to the PEC module, the 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine of the 2015 Mercedes C63 AMG develops 612 hp / 450 kW and 840 Nm / 620 lb-ft of torque, instead of the standard 350 kW (476 hp) and 650 Nm. In terms of performance, the new Performmaster Mercedes C63 AMG powerkit reduces the car’s 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time from 4.1 seconds to 3.8 seconds. The 0-200 km/h sprint time drops from 12.7 seconds to 11.4 seconds.
Performmaster’s upgraded version of the 2015 C63 AMG is able to reach a top speed of 310 km/h (192 mp/h).
Performmaster says that their new powerkit comes with various safety features and reserves. It includes various sensors that send real-time measurements to avoid critical situations and to protect the engine. PEC tuning module was approved by the German TUV. Its price has not been announced yet.
