The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG was just released, potentially leaving owners of the prior style with a bit of design envy. And while it would be easy to sit around and covet the new hotness, the truth is, you’ve got another option: adding a new widebody kit and interior upgrade to the prior, outgoing style.
Helping you make the transformation, Tecnocraft recently released a new widebody kit for the pre-2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. As you can see from the photos, massively flared arches, that were done while Josh from Tecnocraft was a fabricator at Evosport, give the car a wider, bolder presence, and also help the C63 AMG accommodate the ADV1 wheels that were worked out with J and Miguel. According to Tecnocraft, simplicity was key in designing the rims, making them look good on a variety of vehicles.
Other highlights of the Tecnocraft Mercedes C63 AMG include a carbon fiber splitter, rear diffuser and wing, and a blacked-out grille with a titanium gray paint job topping it all off.
Inside, there’s a plentiful supply of carbon fiber, with the dashboard, console, and doors all noting carbon fiber accents. Carrying the simplicity of the rims into the interior, Tecnocraft opted for a one-piece carbon fiber seat. Though the seats look uncomfortable, they were contoured to fit the human body and in addition look damn sexy.
Tecnocraft is currently working on a full body kit that includes a new 3-piece front splitter, a rear trunk/trunklip, an awesomely aggressive rear diffuser, and a vented hood. Everything will be made from true thermoset pre-preg carbon like all Tecnocraft products. They’re also working on some interior components, including a replacement shift knob, a raw dry-carbon trim kit (the factory kit is clearcoated glossy), pedal upgrades, a center console upgrade, and some other small parts.
