The Mercedes Benz C-Class is known to set the benchmark when it comes to luxury sedans. It offers up great styling, along with it being affordable and it’s functional too. The BMW 3-Series is just as popular and it offers all of the above, so which choice is the best for you?

The 2016 BMW 3-Series might not have the same horse power as the 2016 Mercedes Benz C-Class but it does offer performance that is great along with good acceleration. The C300 goes from standstill to 60 is only 6 seconds and the Mercedes AMG C63 takes just 3.9 seconds.

The 2016 Mercedes Benz C-Class is above the competition thanks to it being a luxurious vehicle and it offers up start and stop technology. It also offers seating that folds down in the back and these can be folded down individually.

The Mercedes Benz C-Class also offers wipers that are rain sensing and the seating is 14 way power seats. But which would you choose: the Mercedes or the 2016 BMW 3-Series?

The Mercedes Benz C-Class offers the 2 litre 4 cylinder engine which gives up 241 horses. You should be able to get around 24mpg in the city and on the highway around 31mpg. You can alternatively choose the V6 engine and this should give you about 21mpg when travelling around town or there is the 3 litre engine offering 29mpg.

The BMW 3 Series comes with the 2 litre engine and you should be able to get about 35mpg from it out on the highway and around 23mpg travelling in the city out of the 240 horse power engine.

Based on the fuel economy offered and the engine choices would you rather have the BMW 3 Series or would you be behind the wheel of the Mercedes Benz C-Class?
