While browsing Autoblog this afternoon we happened upon a story they ran which depicted two spy shots of the next generation CL-Class.
According to WindingRoad.com, the site that published the photos, the CL-Class pictured above was seen
being tested by Mercedes engineers without any disguise - only a few strips of tape that were removed by the photographer.
Unfortunately they didn't publish the original photos with the tape, so its unclear exactly how accurate the photos are; but aside from slight variations on the head lights and tail lights, I'd expect the photos to give a fairly decent representation of what the next CL will look like.
Yes, I already know what you're thinking, but don't worry, you didn't like the new S-Class the first time you saw it either. Love takes time people, it doesn't happen overnight. You have to nurture it, and care for it; eventually, it will blossom.
In a year from now, the thought that somehow the next CL-Class doesn't match Mercedes' other impeccable CL designs will be a distant memory, you'll wonder how you ever lived without the newest CL-Class, and harmony to the Mercedes model lineup will be restored.
You'll see.
