For those of you looking to for a way to flaunt your affinity for the classic television series "Knight Rider," the gentlemen of Wald recently alerted us to the fact they've just released a new tuning package for the Mercedes CL-Class - one David Hasselhoff would in all likelihood take great pleasure in toasting.
Featuring an all black motif, Wald's CL boasts a vast assortment of aerodynamic enhancements, ranging from new side skirts; a new front and rear apron; a couple new spoilers; and of course, venting everywhere. Also available are your choice of large, equally dark wheels, the perfect compliment to a car Satan himself would be proud to pilot (if he wasn't too busy tempting "The Hoff" to take just one more sip of those delicous distilled spirits)...

An influx of behind-the-scenes work here at eMercedesBenz has led us to get somewhat behind on stories over the past couple weeks, and one of the areas which demonstrates precisely this tardiness is the number of spy photos which up until now we've neglected to bring you.

| Mercedes-Benz Notes Highest Ever November Sales |

Coming off a 3.4 percent sales increase at their U.S. division, Mercedes-Benz Cars has announced today that worldwide sales of the Mercedes, Maybach and smart brands have achieved a record level for the month of November, jumping 2 percent to 113,000 units. This figure brings Mercedes-Benz Cars eleven month year-to-date sales 1,169,900 new units, up 1.9 percent over the same period last year.
Individually, sales of the Mercedes-Benz and smart brands both noted positive results, with the divisions increasing sales 0.8 percent (102,700 units) and 15.5 percent (10,300 units), respectively. To date, sales of Mercedes-Benz total 1,079,400 new units, up 3.5 percent over last year; while sales of smart have reached 90,500 units for the year, down 13.9 percent when compared to 2006.

| Mercedes-Benz USA's Sales Increase 3.4 Percent In The Month Of November |

Mercedes-Benz USA announced yesterday that sales at their U.S. division increased 3.4 percent for the month of November to 22,819 units, bringing MBUSA's eleven month year-to-date sales to 225,904 new units - a 2.8 percent increase over the same period last year.
Models which helped contribute the sales increase included the new C-Class, which
improved 56 percent over last November with 6,920 units sold; as well as the SL-Class, which improved seven percent with 488 units sold. Surprisingly, the model noting the month's biggest gains, however, came by way of the always-classic G-Class, with sales of the SUV jumping an impressive 211 percent to 109 new units...
