A family museum: Perfect for children and young people
The Mercedes-Benz Museum is designed with families in mind. The collection and the extraordinary exhibits it contains are intended to appeal to visitors of all ages.
For groups of children, such as school classes, there is a "Club" on Level 0 which specifically caters to the needs of young visitors: this is where groups are welcomed and prepared for their visit to the Museum. It is also the point of departure for their subsequent journey of discovery around the Museum.
At the same time the "Club" serves as a kind of base-camp for younger children; they are able to return there for a break and consume any food and drink they have brought with them. Seminars or holiday programmes can also be held there, for example on the subject of car technology, as can computer courses.
For their tour of the Museum children are given a specially programmed audio guide with which they can access appropriately pitched explanations of the different areas and exhibits.
